Hong Kong – On 28 November, the Important Watches Including The Ruby Collection and An Important Private Asian Collection Part V auction totalled HK$145,341,250/ US$18.8 Million, and achieved sell-through rates of 75% by lot and 83% by value.

Numerous world auction records for Patek Philippe references were set, including for the top lot of the sale: a  PATEK PHILIPPE - AN EXTREMELY RARE 18K WHITE GOLD AUTOMATIC PERPETUAL CALENDAR WRISTWATCH WITH MOON PHASES, REF. 3448, MANUFACTURED IN 1966, which sold for HK$9,250,000/ US$1.2 Million.

Leading the “THE RUBY SERIES”, an extraordinary collection of ruby-set masterpieces by Patek Philippe, was A HISTORICALLY VERY IMPORTANT 18K GOLD PERPETUAL CALENDAR CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH WITH CHARLES STERN'S UNIQUE SPECIAL REQUEST DIAL WITH CABOCHON RUBY HOUR MARKERS AND 3-MINUTE PHONECALL COUNTDOWN FEATURE, REF. 1518, MANUFACTURED IN 1945, which sold for HK$8,650,000/ US$1.12 Million and also set a world auction record for the reference.
