PRESS RELEASE Christie’s Important Watches Autumn Auction

Hong Kong – On 26 November Christie’s will present 317 lots of rare and unique timepieces, spanning 1950s to the present day, with estimates ranging from HK$12,000/US$1,500 to HK$2,400,000/US$300,000. The sale will offer both new and seasoned collectors and connoisseurs the opportunity to acquire the most coveted timepieces in the market ahead of the festive seasons.

Leading the sale are eleven RM011 Felipe Massa wristwatches, each numbered 00, with estimates ranging from HK$1,350,000 to HK$2,300,000/ US$180,000 to US$300,000 (please refer to the appendix for the estimates of each watch).

Other highlights include understated elegant designs by Patek Philippe e.g. REF. 3979, REF. 5102, REF. 5370, REF. 5101P, REF. 3970E, REF. 5131, REF. 5270, an array of vintage wristwatches manufactured between 1950s and 1980s, a selection of modern complications by esteemed brands such as A. LANGE & SÖHNE, GREUBEL FORSEY, JAEGER-LECOULTRE, VACHERON CONSTANTIN and AUDEMARS PIGUET.

Also on offer for ladies are a series of dazzling diamond wristwatches by PATEK PHILIPPE, ROLEX, CARTIER, BREGUET, to name a few.
