RESULTS: Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels Autumn sales totalled HK$611 million / US$79 million

Christie’s Hong Kong Autumn sales of Magnificent Jewels realised HK$611,146,250 / US$79,172,226, selling 80% by lot and 84% by value.

The Ratnaraj sold for HK$78,940,000 / US$10,226,448, setting the third highest price per carat of US$1,017,557 for a ruby.

The sale attracted 149 buyers from 23 countries across 4 continents.

The sale room was packed all day long with spirited bidding for colourless diamonds, coloured gemstones and important jadeite jewellery.”
