RESULTS | Handbags & Accessories SPRING SALE
Hong Kong – Handbags & Accessories Spring Sale realized HK$43,170,000/ US$5,529,388 with 95% sold by lot and 97% by value, attracting over 140 unique buyers from 18 countries actively bidding across all channels.
Top lot of the auction was A RARE, MATTE BLACK NILOTICUS CROCODILE SO BLACK BIRKIN 30 WITH BLACK HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 2010 (illustrated left), which fetched HK$1,375,000/ US$176,116, more than double its low estimate of HK$ 400,000/ US$50,000.
Another noteworthy result included AN EXCEPTIONAL, SHINY AMÉTHYSTE POROSUS CROCODILE DIAMOND BIRKIN 35 WITH 18K WHITE GOLD & DIAMOND HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 2010 (illustrated right), which was sold for HK$1,250,000/ US$160,105, far above its high estimate of HK$900,000/ US$11,250.
