CHRISTIE’S PRESENTS SCULPTURAL SILVER AND WORKS OF ART FROM THE ORANGE BLOSSOM COLLECTION

New York – Christie’s is delighted to present Sculptural Silver and Works of Art from the Orange Blossom Collection, an online sale offering a historically significant selection from a private collection that will be open for bidding March 23 – April 6, 2023. Amassed over the course of thirty years, the collection represents 400 years of silver, gold, decorative art, and fine art, and includes renowned makers such as Paul de Lamerie, Paul Storr, Odiot, Biennais, Henri Picard, Meissen, Tiffany & Co., Gorham, and Buccellati. Linked through the incorporation of luxe materials and a sense of adventure, chivalry, romance and royal provenances, the Orange Blossom collection dazzles both the eyes and the spirit.


Sale highlights include a 19th Century Tiffany & Co. Silver Six-light Candelabra Centerpiece Bowl and Mirror Plateau, a Modern 18k Gold Model of the Taj Mahal, a Large German Silver Three-Masted Nef, circa 1900, a Late 20th Century French Ormolu Agate-Inset and Lapis Lazuli Center Table, and an exquisite oil painting by Circle Of Félix Ziem, Il Bacino di San Marco, Venezia.
