Hong Kong – Following the announcement in May of the show-stopping collaboration with the global megastar and passionate art collector Jay Chou, Christie’s Hong Kong will celebrate trailblazing works by rising international artists in this autumn’s Post-Millennium Evening Sale. Curated by Jay Chou and imbued with his visionary and multi-faceted perspective across art, culture, music, and film, the auction will present highlights by Adrian Ghenie, Dana Schutz, Loie Hollowell, Jadé Fadojutimi, and Huang Yuxing, amongst many others – all of whom are garnering growing international acclaim. Presented on 28 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Post-Millennium Evening Sale a Collab with Jay Chou will tap into the future of artistic creation.

Evelyn Lin, Deputy Chairman and Co-Head of the 20th and 21st Century Art Department, Christie’s Asia Pacific commented, “Jay Chou is a global luminary, and we are honoured to infuse this autumn’s Post-Millennium Evening sale with his distinct and pioneering vision. Together, we will spotlight a dynamic curation of works by rapidly emerging talents such as Adrian Ghenie and Jadé Fadojutimi, who are pushing creative limits and redefining artistic tropes. The diversity of this sale coupled with Jay’s international influence will appeal across generations, and provide a unique opportunity for young and budding as well as established collectors to acquire a piece of artistry that reflects our ever-evolving world.”

Jay Chou, remarked, “I am looking forward to showcasing some of the most talented and promising emerging artists from around the world by creating a stage where more people can get to know their works. Every one of the next generation of artists could be a future great artist. I would like to inspire them and be a guide throughout this journey as I myself have traversed this path.”

The Post-Millennium Evening Sale a Collab with Jay Chou is in partnership with ENVISEAM uniting the world of fine art and entertainment.
