The online-only auction highlights a variety of impressive colored diamonds and diamonds, with nearly half the sale offered without reserve! From classic white diamonds to a wide variety of rare colors, this summer selection celebrates diamond-lovers everywhere and reflects the unwavering interest in the iconic stone.
The auction features a stunning array of diamond jewelry including a 12.75 carat G color VS1 clarity diamond ring ($400,000 – 600,000) and a pair 5.57 and 5.45 carat diamond stud earrings ($250,000 – 350,000) alongside jewels from notable houses such as David Webb, Graff, Harry Winston, Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels. The sale also includes a wide selection of jewels from antique and Art Deco to contemporary pieces.
Leading the sale is a fancy intense green Diamond Ring of 3.00 carats ($450,000 – 550,000). Set with a fancy purplish pink diamond of 0.45 carat and a fancy pink diamond of 0.41 carat as side stones, this ring displays the wonders of naturally colored diamonds. Green diamonds are among the most rare colored diamonds in the world and require enormous time spans and a unique set of geologic circumstances. Experts agree that millions of years are required to impart even a pale green body color to even a one-carat diamond.
