Work : Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), Under the well of the Great Wave off Kanagawa [“Great Wave”], woodblock print, from the series Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji, 26 x 38,4 cm

A rare bronze figure of Ksitigarbha from the Dali kingdom (937-1253)

  • The Maurice Colin collection doubled its high estimate totaling €1.2m  

(consigned in partnership with the Marambat-de Malafosse auction house in Toulouse).

  • The Jeremy Brown collection doubles its high estimate  

A rare pair of gilt-enamelled porcelain bowls, Qing dynasty multiplies its estimate by 5

  • The collection of General Baron Haro van HermertTot Dingshof doubles its high estimate  

A red-glazed vase from the Qing dynasty, dated XVIIIth century, multiplies its estimate by 5

  • A cinnabar lacquer circular box and cover from the Ming dynasty, dated 15th century, achieves more then ten times its presale estimate 

  Lot 25 Est. €20,000-30,000 Sold : € 201,600  

 

  • This rare blue and white lobed charger from the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368) multiplies its estimate by 5  

Lot 161 Est. €80,000-120,000 € Sold : € 403,200  

The combined lots from this European collection double the pre-sale estimate.
