Exceptional results for top masterpieces:

    • Zao Wou-Ki’s 29.01.64 established a world auction record price for an oil painting by any Asian Artist, achieving HK$202,600,000 /US$26,063,431
    •  
    • Highly Important and Extremely Rare Wucai ‘Fish’ Jar and Cover, realises HK$213,850,000/US$27,510,684        
    • Fu Baoshi’s The Song of the Pipa Player achieved HK$204,850,000 /US$26,370,948
  • The Pink Promise, a 14.93 Carats Fancy Vivid Pink Diamond, achieved HK$249,850,000/US$32,163,932 which matched the world record price per carat achieved for a pink diamond

Redefining Cultural boundaries:

  • The Peggy and David Rockefeller Collection – The first stop in its global tour attracted almost 18,000 members of the public over the week
  • The Loaded Brush – Once again drew strong buyer interest in its successful second rendition, presenting the most comprehensive collection of Western masterpieces in Asia
  • Dear Monsieur Monet – The first sale dedicated to Impressionism in Asia was a resounding success with 100% of lots sold and over 90% of new buyers coming from Asia
