RESULTS | Christie’s Hong Kong auction of Important Watches totals HK$ 117 million / US$ 15 million

 

Please click HERE for the results of Christie’s Hong Kong sale of Important Watches, which was held on 30 November 2015 and realised HK$117,493,000 / US$15,231,321.

The sale attracted international interest, with buyers from 30 countries across 5 continents.

The top lot of the sale was an important Patek Philippe, ref. 5016, pink gold minute repeating perpetual calendar tourbillon wristwatch, with retrograde date, moon phases, leap year indication and black dial, which sold for HK$4,120,000 / US$534,100 (illustrated left).

The final Christie’s watch sales of 2015 will take place on 15 and 16 December in New York, comprising a single-themed auction dedicated to Omega Speedmaster 50 and a various-owners sale of Rare Watches & Important Discoveries.
