Christie’s presents Christie’s NEXT x Good Eye Projects - London, 12 to 20 January 2023

LONDON – Christie’s presents Christie’s NEXT x Good Eye Projects, a non-selling exhibition of works by six talented artists, on view and open to the public from 12 to 20 January at Christie’s London. For this second iteration of Christie’s NEXT, a platform for showcasing and supporting rising talent, Christie’s has partnered with Good Eye Projects. Founded in 2022 by Anna Woodward (Artist), Scott Franklin (Founder, Property Guardian Protection) and Sam Senchal (Collector & Patron), Good Eye Projects is a new London-based artist residency programme supporting emerging and early-career artists. Good Eye Projects provides six artists with free studio space in Hammersmith, West London, for a period of three months, allowing them the freedom to advance their practice as part of a supportive peer group. The first cohort of artists, Kate Burling, Eva Dixon, Vilte Fuller, Henry Gibbs, Choon Mi Kim and Abi Ola will take over Christie’s St James’s galleries this January, representing London’s emerging, diverse and vibrant art ecosystem.

Marie-Claire Thijsen, Christie’s Specialist, Post-War & Contemporary Art: “With this second chapter of Christie’s NEXT, we are thrilled to collaborate with Good Eye Projects. Good Eye Projects was founded in a time when it has become increasingly difficult for artists to find affordable studio space to continue their practice after graduating from art school. After the first open call received around one hundred applications, Good Eye Projects picked six artists representative of London’s emerging, diverse and vibrant art ecosystem. Christie’s is excited to provide an important platform to support the careers of this next generation of artists and also to open our doors to the next generation of art collectors and art enthusiasts."

Further information on the exhibition and the artists represented is available here.
