RELEASE: CHRISTIE’S CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF IN ASIA

Hong Kong – Christie’s will mark its 30th anniversary in Asia with a series of events celebrating some of the great moments in its history. FIRST OPEN│Hong Kong in March will provide an international platform for the work of emerging young artists across Asia and Hong Kong, some of whom will be making their auction debut.  The sale is aimed at both seasoned and new collectors looking to invigorate their collections with unique and unexpected works from both established and newer artists.

Also in March, new, permanent gallery space will open at Christie’s Hong Kong to provide more opportunities for all to enjoy and view works of art in the city.

Then on May 30th, a Special Anniversary Sale will explore the evolution of taste in Asia through works gathered from some of the world’s leading private collections of Asian art and luxury pieces.
