JOIN CHRISTIE’S HONG KONG WATCH TEAM
Hong Kong – Christie’s is pleased to announce an expansion to its team of international specialists, with two key appointments in Hong Kong. Thanks to a stronger sales content and a measured strategy for setting estimates, Christie’s has achieved the highest sold totals and sold-by-lot rates in the market. The appointments of Nicholas Biebuyck as Senior Specialist and Masashi Tamaoki as Associate Specialist, will further strengthen and accommodate Christie’s offering in the region, and retain market leadership globally, having led the market for the past eight consecutive years. Our outreach covers a broad international customer base and rests on dependable relationships with private collectors from around the world and the global trade.
Mr. Biebuyck joins Christie’s from Bonhams where he held the position of Senior Specialist, curating sales and managing a team in conducting regional sales, while Mr. Tamaoki joins Christie’s from his previous role as Watch Expert at Antiquorum, where he led the execution of sales programs across Asia.
