Chris Munro, Head of Department, Americas Fine Wine & Spirits, commented: “Very strong results were achieved for both our two featured collections as clients from around the globe competed for the great wines of the world with exceptional provenance. We witnessed strong bidding for mature Bordeaux from classic vintages from the eighties and nineties. Champagne also continues to perform well with record prices seen for mature vintages of Dom Pérignon. These strong results reflect our ability to source the very best wine collections with great provenance and present them in an expertly curated sale.”
