Christie’s is proud to announce the continued partnership with Dubai Watch Week (DWW), taking place from 16 through to 20 November at DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.   Christie’s has worked closely with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, founder of DWW, since the inaugural event in 2015, together witnessing the growth of the secondary watch market across the Middle East.  The collaboration supports the founding principles of the event, creating an experiential, educational and networking opportunity, which brings together the biggest collectors, watch brands, independent makers and thought leaders.

This year Christie’s is introducing a newly designed structure in the heart of DWW, within which a programme of engaging and illuminating talks and specialist panels from Horology and Fine Jewellery specialists, collectors and members of the watch industry will take place as well as complimentary watch valuations by appointment, with Christie’s international horology experts sharing their expertise.  Christie’s Pavilion at Dubai Watch Week will also encompass an open plan exhibition space featuring watches on view including rare references by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille and many more.

Remy Julia, Head of Watches, Christie’s Middle East, India & Africa comments, ‘The Christie’s watch     auctions held in Dubai over the last decade have clearly played a role in cementing the importance of Dubai not   only as a regional hub, but as a global beacon in the watch world.  The continued growth and success of Dubai Watch Week is thanks to Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Christie’s is honoured to be a part of this event once again this year. DWW touches every corner of the international watch community and brings together such a diverse spectrum of brands, collectors, and watch aficionados who truly appreciate the event and regard it as one of the most important in the year it takes place. For its 6th edition the bar is set even higher, and the Christie’s Pavilion provides the perfect setting for our specialist teams to share their collaborative authority across watches, jewellery and art with visitors from around the world'.

Hind Seddiqi, Director General, Dubai Watch Week comments, ‘We are pleased to welcome back our long-term partner Christie’s to Dubai Watch Week 2023. With a strong programme and unique offering during the event, the Christie’s Pavilion embodies our core objective to create a platform for creative exchange and learning, while celebrating the luxury and horology industry’.
