NEW YORK – May 23, 2023, Christie’s 3.0 closed Jack Butcher: Checks Elements – This artwork may or may not be notable, an auction comprised of three digital artworks – ‘Alpha’ elements Earth, Air, and Water. The works are from Jack Butcher’s 152-piece collection centered around concepts of social media verification, conceived by the artist in collaboration with Jean Milant and Cirrus Editions. In total, the auction was 100% sold, totaling 50.10 ETH ($93,035.70).
The top lot of the sale was Air, which sold for 19.88 ETH, closely followed by Water selling for 17.25 ETH and Earth which achieved 12.97 ETH.
