Finest and Rarest Wines & Spirits LIVE AUCTION, LONDON

London – Christie’s is pleased to announce its Finest and Rarest Wines & Spirits live auction, which will be held on Tuesday 25 April in London, the first wine sale of the year from King Street. The sale will present an impressive selection of wines and spirits with excellent provenance.
Highlights of the sale include twelve historic bottles of vintage Graham’s Port presented in a collector’s cabinet in celebration of their bicentenary collection (estimate: £26,000-30,000). The hand-crafted cabinet comprises six bottles of classic Graham’s Vintage Ports and six Single Harvest Tawny Ports, alongside a decanter, a corkscrew and glassware. The auction also contains a comprehensive offering of Burgundy from Domaine Armand Rousseau 1999 (estimate: £12,000-15,000), representing some of the most highly regarded vintages of the past twenty years. A fantastic array of Bordeaux is also on offer with exceptional cases of Château Latour 1990 and Château Margaux 1990 in addition to the notable Château Haut-Brion 1989, Château Lafite-Rothschild 1989, 1998 and 2008 and Château Pavie 2000 wines with excellent provenance.

The sale will also include five bottles of Engel Grands-Echezeaux 2002 (estimate: £12,000-15,000). Champagne also features strongly with six magnums of Krug Grande Cuvée (estimate: £1,500-2,200) leading an impressive selection, as well as Cristal 2012, various vintages of Dom Pérignon and Bollinger’s 2009 ‘James Bond 007’ Edition.
